This course also deals with Biblical responses to conflict management, making wise decisions, and most importantly, one’s personal relationship with Christ!

Survey of the Old Testament

This course examines the historical and literary aspects of the Old Testament so that students will know the history of the God we serve as well as how that history unfolded. Students will learn major events and their significances in the greater picture of God’s history, as well as how it all culminates in the coming of the Messiah, Jesus.

Biblical Psychology

This course examines the secular psychological and psychiatric theories and approaches to attempt the "study of the soul" (psychology) and the "care of the soul" (psychotherapy). Students will theologically critique the secular understanding of who man is, what the roots of his problems are, and how to effectively be transformed by the Gospel of Jesus.

Biblical psychology, better known as "Biblical counseling and discipleship" is at the heart of helping students, families, and churches understand how to apply the Scriptures to everyday life regarding our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. We believe that Scripture really does contains all things pertaining to life and godly living.

Survey of the New Testament

This course examines the historical and literary aspects of the New Testament so that students will know the history of the God we serve as well as how that history unfolded. Students will learn major events, especially in the life of Jesus and the early church, and their significances in the greater picture of God’s history, as well as how it will culminate in the 2nd coming of the Messiah, Jesus.

Class Led by Dr. Gady Youmans

Note to students, parents, and local churches...

*** Courses offered are presented from an evangelical Christian perspective. While these courses are academic electives in nature, they are heavy in Bible study/discussion as well. Combining academic rigor with equipping of Biblical discipleship is the goal. Denominational differences are discussed academically and biblically with respect given to varying differences. All students of all walks and faiths (non-faith) are welcome.***
